Go to time-out!

It’s always funny when you hear your two-year old scolding his toys. Last week, Emilie was sitting in bed reading her book, waiting for Nick to fall asleep. It became apparent after an hour and a half that he wasn’t going to fall asleep, so Em started listening to what he was saying. Here’s how it started:

“Don’t Do that! I’m so mad at you! ELMO……1……2……3……Go to time out.”

Em started laughing and decided to go see what the commotion was about and found out that Nick was upset that his stuffed Elmo was getting out of bed and made a mess with his books during naptime. Apparently, Elmo also pulled the comforter off the bed as well as pulled the “safety pillows” out from under the bed. I guess it didn’t occur to him, that he too, was out of bed  during naptime.
